The OTRI is a technical office that depends on the Vice Chancellor for Research and Science Policy. Its mission is to promote effective relationships and catalyze the exchange of knowledge applied to the needs of society, especially with attention on companies.
The OTRI focuses on transferring of knowledge through R&D services with high added value, conducting joint R&D by contracting or competitive funding of public funds and the valorization of research results of the UV.
Besides, the used main mechanisms for the effective knowledge transfer are the intellectual and industrial property titles, industrial licenses and creating spin-offs.
